Wild Card Weekend Preview

I figured I'd toss in my predictions for the rest of this weekend's games as well.

I already said the Patriots would win 24-7.

I think that everyone is giving the Bengals too little credit. They did win their last game with the Steelers. And they will be at home. I think this will be a close one by the Bengals win 27-24.

In New York, the big question is which side of the two-face Carolina team will show up? I think the good side will show up and the Giants injured linebackers will be too much for them to overcome. Carolina wins 24-14.

The Buccaneers and Redskins are in a rematch of a midseason game that Tampa won 36-35. This game should not have anywhere near as many points. I can't help to picture Tampa's 28-0 loss here and think that they can't really compete with a good team. Meanwhile the Redskins have won their last 5 in a row behind the running of Clinton Portis. I think the Redskins win this one 17-14.

And I'm going to give you the Super Bowl prediction right now:
The New England Patriots win an unprecedented 3rd straight Super Bowl over the Chicago Bears. By 3 points of course.
